Planned Maintenance
Please note that we will be performing planned maintenance on our primary SMS servers this coming Saturday 6th August starting at 18:00. As a result of this all WinSMS services will be affected and may result in downtime for up to 60 minutes from the scheduled start time at 18:00.
IP Address Change
Please also note that our main IP address will also be changing from 41.21.146.246 to 129.232.191.82. If you are using our API or FTP service, and you are connecting to the IP address instead of the host name (winsms.io), then you will need to change your software to talk to the host name winsms.io. FTP connections to the old IP address will however still be accepted, up until the end of August 2016. All other connections will be automatically routed to the new IP address until the old IP address is discontinued at the end of August 2016.
Previously Scheduled Messages
Any messages that have been scheduled during this time will be delivered as soon as the maintenance has been completed.
Our team will endeavor to keep the disruption of services to a minimum in order to enable business continuity.
